I am Lyndell Bowden. My friends call me Tooty. I live in Brookstead with Rod, my partner of 16 years and our two cats. 

I was born in Millmerran and lived the first two years of my life on a farm at Kooroongarra, then moved to Millmerran where I spent all of my childhood years until I married. I’ve always lived around this area and it will always be home to me.

I love to create, whether it’s doodling, knitting, crochet, sewing and painting with acrylics or water colours, I try just about anything. The past few years my obsession has been painting on fabric and quilting. The work of Helen Godden has been my biggest inspiration and most of what I’ve done is from Helens’ beautiful designs. Design is not something that comes easy to me. 

I have also been inspired by the work of Toni Burt. I did a few of her on line tutorials in 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed learning her loose style of sketching and water colour painting.
