Library Exhibition of Vintage Saws

A display of over fifty vintage hand saws by Paul Brittan will be in the Library starting in August and continuing until after Camp Oven Festival. 

 

Most of the saws will be more than 100 years old and will include models from Disston, Atkins and Simonds.

 

There will be detailed information on how to identify and date saws and history on the evolution

(and decline) of the

handsaw industry.
