Hosted by renowned Brisbane guitarist Michael Fix, this series of intimate concerts brings together a trio of Queensland's finest musicians including Marcus Church and Brendan Radford. Complete with fretboard virtuosity, personal tales, and charming humour, this concert promises to be a unique journey into the heart of acoustic music, captivating music fans and guitar aficionados alike. Performing solo and ensemble pieces and traversing a wide range of genres from country to rock and classical to bluegrass, these diverse guitarists offer a rare opportunity to witness an abundance of musical talent on the one stage."

Mentoring and Performance Opportunity
The Acoustic Guitar Spectacular is offering an exciting opportunity for emerging and professional acoustic guitarists in your town. The selected guitarist will receive a one-on-one mentoring session with either
Michael Fix, Marcus Church or Brendan Radford and a potential opportunity to perform in the show.
To be eligible, applicants must be residing in the same local government area as the venue for which they are expressing interest.
The local guitarist mentoring and performance opportunity;
• is open to acoustic guitarists of any age or level of experience
• is open to acoustic guitarists that live in the same local government area as the venue
• assesses applicants via an online EOI process (applicants submit information including their name, postcode, contact details, bio, promo image, and music samples/links)
• offers the successful applicant a one on one mentoring session with an Acoustic Guitar Spectacular star of their choice – Michael Fix, Marcus Church or Brendan Radford
• offers the successful applicant a potential opportunity to perform a 3 - 5min solo performance during the Acoustic Guitar Spectacular (usually the opening act!)
• offers upcoming and emerging local acoustic guitarists the opportunity to interact with and learn from world class national and international acoustic guitarists/ performers
EOI’s close two weeks prior to each performance. For Millmerran this will be the 20th of July.
